Under sunset canopies, the stillness of the ancient Pohutakawa slowly stirs to life. Amongst the twists and turns of its weathered arms, the little people gather in this twilight zone. As the light changes, twigs and branches rustle as the Patupaiarehe whisper, laugh and play. Their chatter fills the forest. In the darkest corners of the native bush, you can feel their presence and in the brightest beams between the leaves you will see them at play.
